Paradox: New Moves Student Choreography Showcase, presents the advanced composition/choreography class and their investigation and concepts of the human condition. A demonstration of hard work, creativity, and soul-searching, Paradox offers a glimpse into their most private thoughts and most profound convictions. The themes explored include familial dynamics, political response, gratitude to mentors, cultural mosaics, and belonging. ย To match this dynamic plot, our design team came up with a concept where the dancer is in the middle of the chaotic letters, experiencing the paradox. You can notice parts of the dancer's body disappearing through the shape, adding to the paradox concept as well.
